This wine comes from selected old vines on the rump of Montauriol in gravelly soil and deep ranks. The result is a wine for aging .
Yields are purposely low, in the order of 28 hl / ha with a suckering in the strain and harvesting systematic and severe of all varieties green.
2009 an exceptional vintage quality . Initially low yields and late season dominated by the southerly wind allowed us to harvest very late and so concentrate wines without loss of acidity . This tannic and aromatic balance promises great vintage and a long aging potential !
This wine is produced only when exceptional vintages .
After malolactic fermentation , the wine spent 20 months in new oak barrels tall trees . These barrels containing 400 liters ( 225 l . For classic Bordeaux ) to preserve the wine's aromas and not covered by those wood . Alcohol: 14 % vol
